PVC or 'faux wood' venetian blinds are a less expensive option than shutters while offering a similar look. They can be used on their own as an attractive window covering to provide privacy and light control. They can also be teamed with curtains and roman blinds to create a complete window dressing combination.

Made from PVC, these venetian blinds are better than timber venetians in areas of high humidity (eg. bathrooms) as they are less prone to developing mould.

However, PVC blinds are heavier to pull up and down than real timber so it is recommended that they remain in the lowered position and are just operated by opening and closing the slats.

Measure and get a quote for your PVC venetian blinds using the easy-to-follow guide below.

Download a Quote Request Form for PVC Venetians (either excel or pdf). This handy worksheet has been created to make it easy for you to fill in as you progress through the steps below. Save it on your device or print it out.

When you've finished simply save, scan or take an image of it and attach it, or transfer the information on it, when you request a quote at the bottom of this page.

Step 1. Give your window/s a name/ID for easy identification.

Step 2.

Download this measuring guide then measure your window/s.

Please note the maximum width for a PVC blind is 2400mm

If you're in a hurry, once you've completed this step you can save your completed Quote Form and attach it or use it as a reference when you request a quote below.

If you have more time and want to carry on designing your blinds you can keep working through steps 3-7 (you'll need to come back and do this anyway if you accept the quote).

Step 3. Specify whether your blind is to be fitted on the inside or outside of your window frame. For outside fit make a note of where you have measured from as you will need to remember this when fitting the blind.

Step 4. Choose your colour

A versatile white which blends with most paint colours.

Off White

Actually more a soft cream than a white.

A warm natural shade with more than a hint of beige.

Step 5. Choose your cord side.

Step 6. Specify your cord length only if your blind is to be fitted at a height which is out of reach and you need the cord to be extra long. Otherwise specify 'standard' or leave blank and we will choose the correct cord length for your blind.

Step 7. Save your completed Quote Form and attach it or use it as a reference when you request a quote below.
